Host Musical Duo

GERRY — Heritage Ministries will host musical duo Davis and Eng on Friday, June 1, at 6:30 p.m. as a part of its 2018 Gazebo Concert Series. Held at the Homestead, 4600 Route 60, Gerry, the free concert is open to the community. Heritage officials suggested bringing lawn chairs or other seating for the outdoor event. Steve Eng and Mark Davis are two longtime friends and musicians from the Jamestown area. They teamed together in 2012 and formed the duo of Davis and Eng. Eng has vocal duties and plays acoustic and electric guitars while Davis plays the upright electric bass. They have combined musical experience of more than 90 years and have performed professionally in various country, folk, rock, jazz and bluegrass bands throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland and New York state. To Meet June 3

The next meeting of the South Western Association of Volunteer Firemen will be hosted by the Belmont Fire Department in the village of Belmont in Allegany County on Sunday, June 3. The meeting will take place at the Amity Rescue Squad located at 5184 Route 244 in the village of Belmont. The executive meeting will begin at noon and the general membership meeting will start at 1 p.m. The association is comprised of volunteer firefighters and EMS providers of fire departments and rescue squads in Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua and Erie counties. JHS Class Of ’98 To Host Events

Jamestown High School Class of 1998 will be hosting two events to celebrate their 20-year reunion. A casual gathering on Friday, June 29, with a fixed cost of $10 will be celebrated locally. The payment can be made at the door. On Saturday, June 30, a buffet dinner with an open bar, and DJ will take place at Moonbrook with an earlybird cost of $50 per person, if paid in full by June 1. Moonbrook dinner payments received after that will be $60 and must be received by Friday, June 22. Tobacco Forums At JCC, Fredonia

FREDONIA — A Tobacco/Nicotine Prevention Forum sponsored by the Chautauqua County Department of Health and Human Services and Tobacco-Free Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Allegany, will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday in Carnahan Building room 123 at Jamestown Community College and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, June 1, in Williams Center room S204 at the State University at Fredonia. The forums are held as part of World No Tobacco Day to explore continuing and new problems with tobacco and nicotine in Chautauqua County, discuss what is being done and solutions to be implemented. To Ride Sunday
