JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Frank A. Nutt, 60, was charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, moving from lane unsafely, unlicensed operator, driving while intoxicated, failure to submit breath test and probation warrants. Officers conducted a traffic stop Thursday on East Second Street near Stowe Street for a traffic infraction. Officers identified the operator as Nutt. After failing a field sobriety test Nutt allegedly refused a breath test. He was also found to have a revoked driver’s license from a prior DWI incident. He was also found to have multiple valid warrants out of the city of Jamestown. Nutt was arrested and taken to Jamestown City Jail where he was being held pending arraignment.

¯ James A. Carter, 21, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Officers responded Thursday to Linwood Avenue and Cole Avenue for a a reported physical domestic dispute. Upon further investigation officers found Carter had a valid order of protection to stay away from the female victim inside of the residence. Carter was taken into custody without incident and transported to Jamestown City Jail, where he was held pending arraignment.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ BLOCKVILLE — Ryan Buzzetto, 25, of Clymer, was charged with trespassing and fourth-degree criminal mischief at 11:01 p.m. Thursday. According to a police report, deputies responded to a report of a disorderly man at a residence on Blockville-Watts Flats Road in Harmony. Witnesses alleged Buzzetto had come onto the property without permission and caused damage to a vehicle. Buzzetto then fled the scene and later turned himself into deputies. He will be in court later.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Frank J. Coiro, 75, of Ellington, was charged with petit larceny after police were told he allegedly stole $47.03 worth of merchandise from Walmart on Fairmount Avenue. Coiro was issued an appearance ticket to be in Busti Town Court at a later date.
