CHAUTAUQUA — Playing the front nine at Chautauqua Golf Club, Craig Martin and Todd Martin manhandled Wednesday’s Bill Sprague Memorial Golf League with scores of 33 and 35, respectively.

Notable was Paul Silzle with a 40. Victor Matos’s 42 dominated the back nine, followed by Gabe Morrell and Jim Mayer with 43s.

Low net was Todd Martin’s 29.

The team of Triple B leads the league in points followed by Mayville Legion then Larry’s Cantina.

LAKEWOOD — Tim Sandberg’s 38 led the Youngsville Senior Golf League at Maplehurst Country Club on Tuesday.

John Blum shot a 41, while Gary Lindahl, Joe Saber and Gary VanGuilder each shot 43s.

Nick Archuleta’s 32 led the net scores. Steve Nikitas had a 33 and Saber had a 34.

Lindahl made two birdies, while Saber, Sandberg, VanGuilder, Jim Chapman, Art Luther and Bubs Smith each made one.

MAGNOLIA — Marsha Gastol led the Class A gross scores with a 41 and Cheryl Johnson led the net scores with a 31 during the Wednesday Morning Women’s League at Willow Run Golf Course.

In Class B, Emma McCreary led the gross scores with a 40 and Cassi Brigham led the net scores with a 28.

In Class C, Doris Large led the gross scores with a 49 and Kathy Yaw led the net scores with a 32.

Helen Willman hit the fewest putts with 14.

FREDONIA — Mike Kurmis finished first overall at the weekly Utility League golf league outing Tuesday night on the Vineyards Golf Course’s front nine. His round included one birdie, six pars and two bogeys for 1-over par 37. George Allessi and Bob Patterson tied for second with 39s while Rich Hofer was fourth with 40. Low net honors went to Patterson with 31, one shot better than Hofer.

A par by John Corbett on par-four No. 1 and a birdie by Zeke Curtin on par-four No. 8 were untied scores. In addition, Kurmis, Patterson, and Joe Polichetti each carded a birdie on par-five No. 2. On the par 3s. Bob Kryzanowicz (No. 5) and Jerry Reilly (No. 9) were closest to the pin.

With a third of the season complete, Kurmis and partner Matt Hutchinson hold an eight-point lead in the team standings. Chris Penfold and Jim Waite are second. Bob Cunningham and Tom Hartung are third.

CASSADAGA — Nick Stern, Brenton Wilcox and Steve Wintersteen all shot matching 34s to lead the Integrated Benefits Solutions Tuesday Night Men’s Golf League at Cassadaga Country Club.

Tim Bulger was closest to the pin at No. 6.

Brad Kelly birdied No. 3, Bulger birdied No. 6 and Stern birdied No. 1.

RUSSELL, Pa. — United Refining leads the Park Avenue Motor Car Men’s Senior League at Blueberry Hill Golf Club with 149 points to date.

Ed Shults of Warren sits in second place with 136 points, followed by Sheffield Timber (130), NAPA Auto Parts (127), American Legion (124), The Shockers (124), Jones Pest Control (123.5), Eagles (123), Ace Hardware (119), Jones Chevrolet (118), Park Avenue Motor Car (117), Morning Sun (117), Voty’s (115.5), Mt. Laurel FCU (115), Midtown Motors (112), Sheffield Rod & Gun (106), R&W Truck Service (95.5) and Frailey’s (94.5).

Birdies were converted by Mark Silvis, Mike Hawley, Jeff McClement, Ron McClement, Ken Robeson, Bud Arp, John Bevevino and Don Hardy.

Jerry Bancroft and Silvis tied for low gross with 38s, followed by Jeff McClement (39) and Dick Davis (39).

Bryan Moldovan and Mark Williams shot net 31s.

WESTFIELD — Ryan Swanson and Darien Swanson both shot 35s to lead the Legion Post 434 Wednesday Night Men’s League at Pinehurst Golf Club.

Jeff Thomas and Darien Swanson had net 32s.

August Viele and Jay Beers were closest to the pin. Darien Swanson made an eagle and a birdie. Ryan Swanson made two birdies. Viele, Steve Trippy, Nick Speziale, Ryan Lehman, Scott Jagoda and Jon Coe each had a birdie.

RUSSELL, Pa. — Mike’s Townline leads the Western Division with 142.5 points and Warren Tire leads the Eastern Division with 128 points in the Senior League at Cable Hollow Golf Course.

Ed Zieralski and Greg Grimm both shot 37s to lead the gross scores.

John DeAngelo, Zieralski, Grimm, Paul Edson and Jack Lobdell all had net 33s.

Zieralski accumulated the most points with 8. Grimm, Terry Jackson and Dave Gayton each made two birdies, while Juan Torres, Zieralski and Tim Mack each made one.

Jim Hitchcock leads the individual points with 39.
