CHAUTAUQUA — The Asquith Senior Golf Tour played on the Hill Course at Chautauqua Golf Club on Tuesday.

Dave Young (White A Flight) had a 77, Ray Brown (White B Flight) an 82, Brian Eckwahl (Gold A Flight) an 83, Ed Johnson (Gold B Flight) an 89, Brian Shannon (Gold C Flight) an 89 and Jim Wirges (Gold D Flight) a 96 to lead the gross scores.

Using the Stapleford scoring system following are the first- through third-place finishes in each flight: Dan Benson plus 6, Jud Foy plus 3 and Dave Stewart plus 3, White A Flight; Brown plus 10, Mark Digirolamo plus 4 and Scott Vogan plus 3, White B Flight; Joe McCourt zero, Vern Ahlgren zero and Roger Milspaw zero, Gold A Flight; Gary SaGurney plus 6, Pete Pascatore zero and Barry Harris minus 1, Gold B Flight; Richard Tyler plus 5, Shannon plus 3 and Russ Vacanti plus 2, Gold C Flight; and Gary Wilson plus 9, Wirges plus 7 and Clyde Mohl plus 3, Gold D Flight.

Closest-to-the-pin honors went to Tyler (No. 2), Norm Biegaj (No. 7 and No. 13) and Young (No. 15).
