FREWSBURG LITTLE HOOPERS

Two overtime games provided for some exciting basketball.

In the first game, Ahlstrom Schaeffer defeated Magee Motors, 18-16.

For the winners, Nora Edwards, Alex Hultberg and Becca Taylor scored while Ashlyn Samuelson made two foul shots at the end of overtime to win the game. Alivia Wofford and Addison Hultberg played great defense.

In the second game, Magee Motors defeated Jamestown Area Pathology, 18-16. For Magee Motors, Peyton Yost had six points while Kendal Sohl, Paige Whippo, Ava Jimerson and Raena Bird also scored. Ava Jimerson had an outstanding defensive game with six rebounds and seven steals.

Scoring for Jamestown Area Pathology were Gracie Conlan, Teghan Trocki, Jacey Cappa, Gracie Quinones and Emma Schrecengost. Emma and Lizzie Schrecengost were the defensive players of the game.

Nora Edwards had 12 points as Ahlstrom-Schaefer beat Jamestown Area Pathology, 22-13.

Alex Hultberg and Becca Taylor each added four points while Addison Hultberg had two points in the win.

Emma Schrecengost led Jamestown Area Pathology with nine points while Lizzie Schrecengost and Tagen Trocki each had two points.

NY-PENN TEEN LEAGUE

Dennis Rosa scored 22 points, Victor Andino 16 and Deandre Davis 10 as the Jamestown Teen Center Blue toppled Erie YMCA, 77-74.

Magee Motors picked up a win against Ahlstrom Schaeffer on Monday night.

High scorer for Ahlstrom Schaeffer was Emma Edwards with Alex Hultberg leading the defense.

High scorers for Magee Motors were Ava Jimerson, Kendal Sohl and Peyton Yost with Emily Swan leading the defense.

Kendal Sohl had 10 points, Ava Jimerson had 13 rebounds and Peyton Yost had five steals as Magee Motors beat Jamestown Area Pathology, 26-16, on Saturday.

For Jamestown Area Pathology, Gracie Conlan had 10 points and Jacey Cappa was the defensive player of the game.

Peyton Yost had six rebounds in the win.

For Ahlstrom Schaeffer, Nora Edwards had eight points while Alex Hultberg had six rebounds and was the defensive player of the game.
