ASHVILLE — The Wednesday Morning Men’s League at Timber Creek Golf Course held its midseason 18-hole tournament with a Texas scramble format. Bill Jackson, Casey Windoft, Jack Evan and Jerry Reynolds led the way with a 5-under 32.

Larry Dunlap, Rita Dunlap, Dave Kolstee and Dick Kolstee were second with a 1-over 38 while Mark Digirolamo, Bob Sargent, Charlie Rensel and Jim Baron were third with a 7-over 44.

Bill Schutt was closest to the pin at No. 7 and Jack Brunco was closest at No. 9.

ASHVILLE — The Humpday Hackers League at Timber Creek Golf Course held its midseason nine-hole tournament with a 2-man scramble format. Dave Pearson and Larry Dunlap tied Al Briggs and Rick Cole for first place with 36s.

Brock Windoft and Dan Sullivan took third with a 39 while Craig Burch and Jeff Arnold, Keith Smith and Larry Begel, Mike Yuchnitz Jr. and Jarett Yuchnitz, Tim Reed and Mark Burgeson, Dale Emke and Thomas Brown, Mark Truver and Rick Davis, Mike Yuchnitz and Gary Sams, and Chris Cady and Wayne LaCross all tied for fourth with 42s.

MAYVILLE — Mary Gibb (Class A) shot a gross 36, Cassi Brigham (Class B) fired a gross 43 and Susan Turnquist shot a gross 44 in the Wednesday Morning Ladies League at Willow Run Golf Course.

The net leaders were Helen Adams and Jeanie Bonar with 28 apiece in Class A; Sarah Goebel with a 28 in Class B; and Lissa VanDewark with a 26 in Class C.

Cheryl Johnson had the fewest putts (13) and Gibb birdied No. 6.

Judd Dahl shot a net 29 while closest-to-the-pin honors went to Jason Jagoda at No. 13 and Lyndy Smith at No. 16.

Other scratch scores included: Smith 39, Darien Swanson 40, Jeff Jaynes 41, Jay Beers 42 and August Viele 42.

Lorrie Bush and June Jacobson shot 42s, followed by Kathy Bernard’s 43. Amy Bernhardt and Susie Stuart shot 44s, Cindy Janson had a 45 and Patty Kulju had a 47.

Two weeks ago, Sharon Casselman and Sandy Pratt led the way with 42s. Brenda Wiedenhofer shot a 43, followed by Bush (44), Nancy Baker (45), Linda Smith (45), Angie Peck (46), Vincent (47) and Christina Anderson (49).
