Talk about two classes of citizens in this country, nobody who works in the private sector can come close to the benefits that government employees enjoy during their working days, let alone after retirement. To The Reader’s Forum: I recently took advantage of the free rabies clinic to assure proper protection of my two cats offered in the City of Jamestown. What a brilliant idea to offer this drive by clinic. The pre-registration was processed by the City Clerk’s office where I was greeted kindly and given an appointment. Entry to the clinic was on Third Street meeting a person, checking my appointment and directed me to line up my vehicle to await my turn to see the veterinarian. Parking Meters Will Be End Of Main Street Business

To the Readers’ Forum: If the smart meters are installed in the free zone, it will most likely be the end of the business left on Main Street. We feel we have the right to put our two cents in because Landers has been on Main Street since 1952. We have owned it since 1980. Parking should not be a money-maker for the city. Washington Street Traffic Lights Upset Driver

To The Reader’s Forum: As driving across town on Washington Street yesterday, I was again appalled as I had to stop at Third, Fifth, Sixth and Eighth street signals.
