Autopsy, Forensics Presented In Murder Trial
MAYVILLE – The prosecution in the Jason Wells murder trial this morning brought forth witnesses to testify to victim Ruth Fisk’s autopsy as well as her DNA on various pieces of evidence.
A gruesome video of the actual murder is expected to be shown in court this afternoon.
Wells, a 37-year-old resident of the low-income Fredonia apartment complex at the time, allegedly stabbed and beat fellow One Temple Square resident Fisk, 81, a retired nurse, to death. He faces a charge of second-degree murder, a crime punishable by 25 years to life behind bars.
