City man charged after leaving child, pizza in oven
Timothy Gonzalez, 40, Jamestown, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, having an outstanding warrant and second-degree criminal contempt.
At about 11:24 a.m. July 2, Jamestown Police officers responded to a complaint of a lost child on the East side of the city. Upon arrival, officers observed the child standing in front of a residence. The mother of the child arrived on scene at the same time as officers.
After speaking with her she advised officers that she left her son in the care of her boyfriend,
Gonzalez. The child was left alone by Gonzalez for more than 20 minutes and a pizza was left in the oven with the oven on.
Gonzalez was located a short period after and taken into custody.
