Special edition benefits Laurel Run

Representatives from the Jamestown Police Department and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office will join employees of The Resource Center and Filling the Gap, as well as community volunteers, in selling copies of the Laurel Memorial Run/Walk edition of The Post-Journal on Wednesday at area Tim Hortons locations. The 30th annual Laurel Run/Walk takes place July 17 and 18. Proceeds from the event and the newspaper sale will be directed to The Resource Center Laurel Run Fund and Dr. John Vona “Smile” Fund at the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation and will support initiatives that benefit people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through The Resource Center and Filling the Gap, Inc.
