CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY COURT – Dakota Sugg, 28, of Silver Creek, was sentenced by County Court Judge David Foley to an indeterminate state prison sentence of three to six years for a conviction on a third-degree criminal possession of a weapon charge. The plea was the result of an agreement and covered a number of other charges, the Chautauqua County District Attorney’s Office announced. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT – Andrew Cooper, 35, of Jamestown, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt. Officers responded at 5:52 p.m. Saturday to the east side of the city and located Cooper. Man Charged In High-Speed Chase Traiquane Nance, 34, of Dunkirk, was charged Dec. 11 with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, unlawful fleeing in a motor vehicle and reckless driving. The chase began when city officers pulled over a vehicle for a traffic infraction on Third Street. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT – A pair of individuals are facing numerous charges after a traffic stop turned up drugs before noon Friday. Tyler R. Elsesser, 38, and Brayley A. Walters, 28, were charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia and traffic citations. Officers at 8:06 a.m. Friday stopped a vehicle for an observed traffic violation. It was later determined that Bryant had allegedly violated a valid stay-away order of protection to stay away from one of the occupants of the vehicle. LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT - Jeramy S. Card, 22, of Jamestown, was charged with third-degree menacing, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. Police responded at 11:04 p.m. Tuesday to Busti Sugar Grove Road for a reported family fight. It was alleged that Card threatened to stab someone with a large hunting knife.
