JAMESTOWN POLICE

DEPARTMENT

— Quincy J. Harris, 44, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal mischief and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

At about 7:44 p.m. Friday, officers responded to an East side address for a domestic dispute complaint. The victim returned home after officers arrived. Through an investigation, it was discovered that Harris engaged in a physical domestic with the victim. It was discovered that he broke a hand of the victim and damaged property inside of the residence.

Officers were advised that Harris had also grabbed a juvenile by the throat and pushed them into a wall. The incident occurred in the presence of two juveniles. He was located a short distance away and placed into custody.

— Brianna M Ryan , 25, Jamestown, is facing two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree criminal mischief.

At 5:30 p.m. Friday, officers responded to an address on the West side of the City for a domestic in progress. Through investigation it was determined that Ryan punched a male victim in the face and punched a glass door causing it to shatter. She allegedly did this in front of her two children. Ryan was placed into custody and was transported to the Jamestown City Jail.

— Nemesis M. Arriaga Rivera was charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

At 3 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to a domestic dispute at a southside residence. Upon arrival, officers observed a physical altercation taking place. Through investigation officers determined that Rivera engaged in a physical altercation with her juvenile son. Officers also determined the altercation took place in front of an infant child. She was transported to City Jail where she is pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

— SINCLAIRVILLE — A village resident is facing charges after striking another individual with a baseball bat.

Around 6:49 a.m. Sunday, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies responded to an address on Main Street for a report of an assault in progress. Upon further investigation, it was determined that Jeremiah Haas, 46, caused physical injury to another individual by striking them with a bat. Haas was charged with third-degree assault. He was later transported to the Chautauqua County Jail to be arraigned on the charge.
