Man charged after use of shotgun in altercation SINCLAIRVILLE --- A village man is facing charges after discharging a shotgun during an altercation. Around 11:34 p.m. Saturday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and New York State Police responded to an address on Main Street. Upon arrival, units learned that the male was identified as 28-year-old William F. Borkowski Jr. and had fled the scene. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Kedrin D. Murphy, 37, of Jamestown, was charged Nov. 10 with four counts of second-degree criminal contempt, second-degree criminal trespass, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. According to police, at 2:01 a.m., officers responded to a westside address for a reported domestic dispute. Through investigation, it was found that Murphy allegedly had violated four orders of protection, and also had an arrest warrant for violating the same four orders of protection. Two teens die in Allegany County crash WELLSVILLE -- Two teenagers died after an early morning crash on Tarantine Boulevard Saturday. At 2:24 a.m., State Police at Amity responded to a single vehicle collision. An investigation determined that a 2020 Buick Encore was traveling eastbound. The Buick exited the north shoulder of the road on a sharp curve striking a utility pole on the driver’s side. The Buick had a total of six teen occupants. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERRIF’S DEPARTMENT - Marissa E. Figueroa, 45, of Dunkirk, was charged Nov. 6 with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, and operating a motor vehicle while registration is suspended or revoked. According to officials, at 9:40 p.m., while on routine patrol of the town of Pomfret, a deputy did observe a vehicle and traffic violation. Upon further investigation it was determined that Figueroa allegedly was operating the vehicle while intoxicated. Figueroa will be Pomfret Town Court later. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT - Tyler Corwell, 32, no address given, was charged Nov. 3 with second-degree burglary, and fourth-degree criminal mischief. According to officials, deputies responded to a residence in the town of Arkwright for the report of an unwanted person destroying property. During the investigation it was alleged that Corkwell entered the residence without permission and smashed numerous windows in the home. According to police, officers responded to a shoplifting complaint, where it is alleged Dellahoy shoplifted several items from an Ellicott business.
