CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT — SHERMAN — At 10:40 a.m. Saturday, deputies from the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office followed up on a person with a weapon complaint that occurred on May 11 in the village. Through an investigation it was determined that Ronald Reed, 66, of Sherman was found to have threatened an individual during a verbal altercation. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Deborah M. Rowland, 46, of Jamestown was charged May 13 with being a fugitive from justice. According to police, at about 4:49 p.m., officers, and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies were conducting a joint search on the Southside when they observed Rowland, who was known to be wanted by the Rio Rancho Police Department in New Mexico. Rowland was placed into custody without incident, and taken to Jamestown City Jail. Pending extradition, she will be in Jamestown City Court. - Peter S. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT — Jessica M. Wolfgang, 46, of Jamestown, was charged May 12 with being a fugitive from justice. According to police, at about 9:31 p.m., officers were on patrol on the Northside when they observed Wolfgang, who was known to be wanted by Pennsylvania State Parole. She was placed into custody, and taken to Jamestown City Jail awaiting extradition. She will be in Jamestown City Court later. — Douglas E. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Josean D. Martinez, 34, of Jamestown, was charged May 6 with aggravated criminal contempt, second-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, third-degree assault, criminal obstruction of breathing, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. According to police, at about 11:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a past-tense domestic incident. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT — Devonte D Hampton, 33, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle early Sunday. At about 1:18 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on the North side of Jamestown. Through an investigation, officers determined that Devonte Hampton was operating the vehicle with a suspended license and violating an order of protection. He was being held pending his arraignment. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT -An 18-year-old Jamestown man was charged May 5 with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, and resisting arrest. According to police, at 5:52 p.m., officers responded to a domestic dispute in progress at a southside address. After investigation, it was discovered the male suspect engaged in a physical altercation with the victim.
