Mom Charged For Tattooing Sons’ Hands
FREWSBURG – A 34-year-old Frewsburg mother of two has been charged after allegedly tattooing her two juvenile sons’ hands.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, a call to check on the well-being of two juvenile boys ages 12 and 13 was made on Thursday. Police responded to a residence on Emery Hill Road in Frewsburg. After an investigation was conducted, it was determined that sometime around Nov. 25 Chantilly L. Thomas used a tattoo gun to permanently tattoo her own two sons’ hands. Thomas was not licensed to perform tattooing in any state in the United States. The words “Ride of Die” and a lightning bolt were tattooed on the back of her 12-year-old and 13-year-old sons’ hands, respectively.
Thomas was charged with second-degree unlawfully dealing with a child and was released on her own recognizance and will appear in the City of Jamestown Court on Jan. 20.
