Tina C. Taylor, 43, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with no headlights, driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI. At 8:48 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle on West Third Street that had no headlights. It is alleged that the driver-Taylor-was intoxicated and had a blood alcohol content more than twice the legal limit. She was transported to the Jamestown City Jail and will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

POLICE DEPARTMENT
BUSTI – Jarrett L. Lundgren, 54, of Busti was charged Thursday at 5:15 p.m. with second-degree harassment and second-degree menacing. It is alleged that Lundgren used physical force against a female victim and threatened her with a dangerous instrument. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

GOWANDA-James R. Faulkner, 39, of Rochester was charged Wednesday with three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. The charges stem from a traffic stop by the task force and the Gowanda Police Department after Faulkner was allegedly seen in a car in Gowanda. It is alleged that he was in possession of crack cocaine, heroin and fentanyl. He was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail and will appear in Persia Court at a later date.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
OLEAN-Michael P. Scholl, 37, of Hinsdale was charged Tuesday with unlawful possession of marijuana. It is alleged that Scholl had a marijuana pipe and a container of marijuana when he attempted to enter the Cattaraugus County Office Building. The items reportedly triggered the metal detector at the entrance. He will appear in Olean Court on March 3.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Cody M. Abbey, 27, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with fourth-degree criminal mischief. At 10:03 p.m., police responded to 16 Blanchard St. for a domestic incident. It is alleged that Abbey had an argument with a girlfriend and broke her cellphone into pieces. He reportedly fled the scene before police arrived, but was taken into custody several blocks away. He was transported to the Jamestown City Jail and is pending arraignment.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Bryonna S. Vickers, 19, of Bronx, Achaia K. Buckanon, 19, of New York, and Trevor D. Patterson of Harlem, were all charged Tuesday with multiple counts of petit larceny. It is alleged that all three individuals committed multiple larcenies by performing a scam called “under-ringing.” This involves paying for merchandise at a self-checkout lane by scanning a different price tag for the merchandise bagged. Other methods include scanning only half of the merchandise bagged, or scanning all the merchandise and canceling the transaction afterward. The three individuals were caught in the act of stealing from a local store. They were remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
Antasia M. Babcock, 21, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance outside of users original container, displayed forged inspection sticker, uninspected motor vehicle and inadequate lights. At 11:54 p.m., police pulled over Babcock on East Fairmount Avenue in Lakewood for having a head lamp out. It is alleged that Babcock had a forged inspection sticker on her vehicle’s windshield, and was in possession of a controlled substance. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
George J. Moore, 33, of Jamestown was charged on Feb. 4 with second-degree endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person. It is alleged that Moore choked a resident of the Aspire Home on Jan. 10. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

SILVER CREEK-Kyle N. Alejandro, 26, of Depew was charged Wednesday with driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest, inadequate headlights and speed in zone. At 2 a.m., deputies pulled over Alejandro in Silver Creek after committing alleged traffic violations. Further investigation revealed that Alejandro was allegedly intoxicated. He reportedly tried to physically resist arrest as well. Alejandro was transported to the county jail in lieu of bail.
STOCKTON-Steven J. Stablewski, 24, of Stockton was charged Wednesday with second-degree criminal contempt. At 7:07 p.m., deputies observed a vehicle parked on the shoulder of Stockton Hartfield Road. After deputies investigated the vehicle, they determined that Stablewski was with a female who had a valid order of protection against him. Stablewski was remanded to the county jail and will appear in Stockton Court at a later date.
RIPLEY-Addison R. Paddock, 20, of Mayville was charged Sunday with unlawful possession of marijuana and no distinctive plate. At 10:44 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Barnes Road in Ripley. It is alleged that the driver-Paddock-was in possession of marijuana. He will appear in Ripley Court at a later date.

FRANKLINVILLE-Bradley J. Bridenbaker, 49, of Franklinville was charged Tuesday with failure to keep right, driving while intoxicated common law and DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more. At 2:26 a.m., deputies discovered pickup truck in a ditch on Route 98, south of Cadiz Road. It is alleged that the driver-Bridenbaker-was intoxicated. He will appear in Franklinville Court on March 9 at 7 p.m.
ASHFORD-Jacob T. DiSalvo, 25, of Cheektowaga was charged Sunday with speed in zone, driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI and resisting arrest. At 4:14 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Route 219 for speeding. It is alleged that the driver-DiSalvo-was intoxicated. DiSalvo allegedly became belligerent when taken into custody. He will appear in Ashford Court at a later date.

RANDOLPH-Laverne F. Brown Jr., 36, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with driving while intoxicated and parking on the highway after police spotted his vehicle pulled over on I-86 in Randolph and stopped to see if the driver was alright. Troopers allegedly noticed a strong odor of alcohol, and after field sobriety tests Brown was transported to the State Police barracks in Jamestown for processing where a BAC of .14 was obtained. He will appear in Randolph Court at a later date.

Tracie A. Stack, 44, of Jamestown received multiple charges Sunday. At 1:07 a.m., officers observed a red sport utility vehicle in Brooklyn Square that was being driven without any headlights or tail lights on. The vehicle then traveled northbound on North Main Street, where it swerved into the oncoming lane of traffic and continued to drive there until it made a left-hand turn westbound onto West Fourth Street. Officers attempted a traffic stop, but the vehicle failed to pull over. The red SUV continued westbound on Fourth Street and made another left-hand turn southbound on Cherry Street toward West Second Street at North Main Street. During an investigation, it was determined that the driver, Stack, was allegedly driving the car while in an intoxicated condition. Stack was subsequently taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail, where she did consent to a chemical breath test to determine her blood alcohol content at more than twice the legal limit. She was charged with no or inadequate headlights, failure to keep right, failure to maintain lane, no or improper use of turn signal, improper or unsafe turn without signal, improper left-hand turn, failure to comply with a police vehicle, refusal of breath screening test, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated.
Natasha Cruz, 29, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with failure to keep right, speed not reasonable and prudent, unregistered motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated per se. At 2:18 a.m., officers responded to an accident in front of 92 Steele St. Upon arrival, the officers observed a 2005 Hyundai in a snow bank with damage. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the driver, Cruz, struck a telephone pole on Steele Street and slid down the street into the snow bank. Cruz was allegedly taken into custody for DWI, and was transported to Jamestown City Jail without incident. She was released on her tickets.
Daniel Weilacher, 56, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with third-degree assault. At approximately 8 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Bullfrog Hotel at 1414 E. Second St. for a reported assault. Upon arrival, it was determined that Weilacher had assaulted a male victim, causing injuries to the victim that required treatment at the emergency room. Weilacher was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail.
Amanda D. Bianco, 33, and Ashley D. Karash, 28, both of Jamestown, received separate charges relating to an incident that occurred Saturday morning. At approximately 1:20 a.m., officers executed a traffic stop on a gray Mercury sedan near the Noe Place store on East Second Street. The driver, Bianco, was found to be allegedly operating the vehicle while in an intoxicated condition. Bianco was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail, where she consented to a chemical breath test that determined her blood alcohol content to be more than twice the legal limit. She was charged with failure to maintain lane, failure to keep right, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. As officers were conducting the traffic stop, the passenger, Karash, became uncooperative and disorderly. Karash was told that she was free to leave, but continued to yell obscenities loudly in front of the Noe Place store. Karash was repeatedly asked to quiet down and leave the area but she allegedly refused to do so. Karash was then advised that she would be taken into custody for her actions. As she was being detained, Karash refused to comply with simple commands and actively pulled her hands apart. Karash was subsequently transported to Jamestown City Jail, where she was charged with unnecessary noise and resisting arrest.
Donald W. Phillips, 66, of Jamestown was charged Friday with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. At 7:48 p.m., officers were sent to 23 Maple St. for a reported domestic dispute. It is alleged that a female victim was shoved into a wall and struck with a blunt object. Property was also allegedly destroyed inside the residence. Phillips was apprehended on scene and taken to the city jail.

ELLICOTT – Carla J. Lapaglia, 42, of Lakewood was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, first-degree felony aggravated unlicensed operation and inadequate headlights. At approximately 3:10 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on Tiffany Avenue in the town of Ellicott for an equipment violation. The operator was identified as Lapaglia, whom investigation allegedly found to be intoxicated. A check of Lapaglia’s driving history in New York state showed that her privileges to operate a motor vehicle in the state had been suspended for a previous alcohol related incident. Lapaglia was taken into custody and was later released with traffic tickets. She will appear in Ellicott Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
CHAUTAUQUA – Amber S. Johnson, 32, of Jamestown was charged Friday with reckless endangerment, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. At 6:45 p.m., Johnson was allegedly taken into custody on an active arrest warrant issued by Chautauqua Town Justice Court. The incident stems from an investigation conducted by Child Protective Services and the sheriff’s office, accusing Johnson of engaging in a course of conduct with a victim under 10 years of age. Johnson was arraigned in Chautauqua Town Court and committed to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail. The warrant was served with the assistance of Jamestown Police Department.
STOCKTON-Barry V. Mason, 23, of Buffalo was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, consumption of alcohol in motor vehicle and moving from lane unsafely. At 2:55 a.m., deputies responded to a vehicle accident on Dean Road in Stockton. It is alleged that Mason was driving a vehicle that left the roadway and struck a snowbank, causing it to be stuck. Mason was allegedly intoxicated. He will appear in Stockton Court at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA-Randy A. Thomas, 24, of Dewittville was charged Monday with unlawful possession of marijuana. At 12:30 a.m., deputies checked a suspicious male on East Chautauqua Street in Chautauqua. The subject, Thomas, was alleged to have a small quantity of marijuana. He will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA-Joshua F. Lair, 37, of Youngsville, Pennsylvania, was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated, DWI with BAC of .08 percent or greater, inadequate head lamps and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 12:44 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on East Chautauqua Street in Chautauqua for inadequate head lamps. It is alleged that the driver-Lair-was intoxicated. It is also alleged that he had a small quantity of marijuana. He will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.
KIANTONE-Melissa J. Nelson, 50, of Frewsburg was charged Feb. 19 with driving while intoxicated, failure to submit to a chemical test, failure to submit to prescreen and moving from lane unsafely. At 3:51 a.m., deputies responded to a vehicle accident on Route 62 in Kiantone. Deputies identified Nelson as the driver of the vehicle that went off the road into a snow embankment. It is alleged that Nelson was intoxicated. She will appear in Kiantone Court at a later date.

SALAMANCA – Sharon L. John, 54, of Salamanca was taken into custody Wednesday on a bench warrant issued by Olean City Court. John was turned over to Olean Police Department for further processing, and is due back in court at a later date.
SALAMANCA – Kari L. Taylor, 46, and Renee L. Taylor, 40, both of Salamanca sustained minor injuries as the result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred Saturday. According to police, a 2014 Ford Explorer operated by Kari Taylor was traveling west on Saw Mill Run Road when a 2006 Dodge Caravan operated by Renee Taylor, traveling eastbound on the same road, crossed the center line and struck the Explorer head on. Both drivers sustained minor injuries and were transported to Olean General Hospital. Renee Taylor was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain lane.
GREAT VALLEY-George W. Toldy, 20, of Sandusky, Ohio, was charged on Feb. 18 with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with BAC greater that .18 percent and failure to maintain lane. At 10:40 p.m., Toldy reportedly lost control of his vehicle and went into a ditch on Route 219 in Great Valley. It is alleged that Toldy was intoxicated. He will appear in Great Valley Court at a later date.

Michelle L. Frost, 45, of Sinclairville was charged Friday with unsafe turn without signal, failure to keep right, failure to use designated lane, failure to comply with an order, driving while intoxicated common law and driving while intoxicated per se with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher. At 10:25 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle in Falconer and determined that Frost was allegedly intoxicated. She will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
Barbara D. Stack, 36, of Celoron was charged on Feb. 18 with failure to yield right of way on left turn, unregistered vehicle and driving while intoxicated common law. At 2:43 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle for failing to yield the right of way to another vehicle. It is alleged that Stack was intoxicated. She was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on $750 cash bail and $1,500 property bond. She will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
A 17-year-old youth was charged Friday with unlawful possession of marijuana. At 12:01 a.m., police responded to the area of Chautauqua Avenue in Lakewood for motorists driving erratically. After police located a vehicle matching the description, they determined that one of the passengers of the vehicle was allegedly in possession of marijuana. The minor will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Ashley A. Miller, 24, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with second-degree criminal contempt. At 9:45 p.m., police were assisting probation personnel with a residence check. It is alleged that Miller was inside violating a valid order of protection. She was transported to the city jail and pending arraignment.

PORTLAND-Anson D. Smith, 28, of Dunkirk was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. At 12:55 a.m., deputies located a suspicious vehicle on the grounds of Lake Erie State Park. It is alleged that the operator-Smith-was intoxicated and had suspended driving privileges in New York. Smith will appear in Portland Court at a later date.

LITTLE VALLEY-Michael S. Lecceardone, 48, of Little Valley was charged Wednesday with third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation following a traffic stop in Little Valley. He was transported to the county jail with bail set at $1,000. He will appear in Little Valley Court at a later date.

Merle E. Przybelinski, 54, of Falconer was charged Tuesday with driving while intoxicated and DWI per se following a traffic stop in Ellicott. It is alleged that Przybelinski had a blood alcohol content greater than .08 percent. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Melissa M. Edington, 26, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with third-degree welfare fraud, first degree offering a false instrument for filing and misuse of food stamps in excess of $1,000. It is alleged that from Oct. 1, 2013 through May 31, 2014, Edington failed to notify the Chautauqua County Department of Social Services that the father of common children had income and employment while residing with her. This unreported income allowed her to receive $8,401.13 in unentitled benefits. She will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
LAKEWOOD-Todd A. Bower, 26, of Jamestown was charged Monday with operating while registration suspended/revoked, operating without insurance, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation-alcohol, unlicensed operator and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 1:45 p.m., deputies pulled over Bower for allegedly driving with a suspended vehicle registration on Route 394 in Lakewood. It is also alleged that Bower was driving with a suspended driver’s license and had marijuana in his pocket. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
HANOVER-Joseph R. Cwynar, 31, of Hamburg was charged Tuesday with driving while intoxicated with a BAC of .08 percent or greater and speed in 55 mph zone. At 2:11 a.m., deputies pulled over Cwynar on Hanover Road in Hanover for speeding. It is alleged that he was intoxicated. He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

John Devine, 46, of Ashville was charged Sunday at 7:02 p.m. with second-degree criminal contempt after allegedly violating an active order of protection. It is alleged that Devine sent several text messages to a female that he was ordered to avoid. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

SILVER CREEK-Ryan P. Sheldon, 19, of Fredonia was charged Sunday with felony criminal possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of marijuana, possession or consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and speed in zone. At 9:54 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle for speeding on Route 20 in Silver Creek. Deputies allegedly observed open containers of alcohol in the vehicle. Further investigation revealed that the driver-Sheldon-allegedly had marijuana and a loaded handgun. He was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail with bail set at $15,000 cash/$30,000 property bond.

ELLICOTTVILLE-Marc R. Sullivan, 59, of Port Dover, Ontario was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated, DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, speed in zone and consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle. At 5:20 p.m., Sullivan was pulled over for speeding on Route 219 in Ellicottville. Deputies allegedly observed signs of intoxication and open containers of alcohol inside the vehicle. Sullivan is currently being held on $1,500 bail.

ELLICOTT-Kevin J. Rohlin, 21, of Jamestown was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated. Shortly before noon, Rohlin was attempting to assist a vehicle that was in a snowbank by pulling it out with his own vehicle. Troopers responded to the scene and allegedly detected an odor of alcohol from Rohlin. After field sobriety tests, Rohlin was later processed and found to have a BAC of .11 percent. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Krista M. Gibbons, 36, of Sinclairville was charged Friday with no front plate, driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI. At 7:48 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle in front of 45 Baker St. for no plate. The operator of the vehicle, Gibbons, was allegedly found to be operating the vehicle in a highly intoxicated condition. She was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail, where she submitted to a breath test. The breath test determined her blood alcohol content was greater than .18 percent. Gibbons was held in lieu of bail.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Nicholas C. Hannum, 21, of Lakewood was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and speeding. At 2:35 a.m., a Lakewood-Busti police officer was on patrol on Baker Street Extension in the town of Busti. The officer observed a subject operating a motor vehicle at a high rate of speed. After executing a traffic stop, the operator of the vehicle was identified as Hannum, who was allegedly found to be intoxicated. Hannum was charged and will appear in Busti Town Court at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
WESTFIELD – Todd A. Throne, 42, of Brocton was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. At approximately 5:20 p.m., deputies along with Westfield police responded to a report of a fight at a business in the town of Westfield. Prior to arrival, it was reported that a suspect had left in a vehicle heading toward Westfield. Police were able to get the suspect vehicle stopped and identified Throne as its operator and suspect in the fight. Through a brief investigation, deputies allege that Throne was operating the vehicle while in an intoxicated condition and took him into custody. Throne was released with traffic citations and will appear in Westfield Village Court at a later date and time.
MAYVILLE – Amber L. Lang, 28, and Joseph M. Dubbs, 35, both of Rocky River, Ohio, were charged Friday with operating snowmobiles while intoxicated. At approximately 9:15 p.m., deputies observed a snowmobile off Snowmobile rail 4B near Route 430 in the village of Mayville. Upon investigation, it was determined that Lang was attempting to turn her snowmobile around when she backed off the side of the trail and down a small embankment. The snowmobile then became stuck. Dubbs, who was operating another snowmobile with Lang, stopped and attempted to get the snowmobile back on the trail but was unsuccessful. Further investigation found that both Lang and Dubbs were allegedly intoxicated. Both subjects were taken into custody and transported to the sheriff’s office in Mayville where they were processed and later released. Lang and Dubbs were charged, and additional charges are pending. Both will appear in Chautauqua Town Court at a later date.
POMFRET – Michael R. Abram, 24, of Eden was charged Saturday with no headlights, failure to stop at a red signal, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. At approximately 2:30 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 20 in the town of Pomfret for having only one functioning headlight and failing to stop at a red light. Upon investigation, the driver, Abram, was allegedly found to be intoxicated. Abram was taken into custody and later released. He will appear in Pomfret Town Court at a later date.
FRENCH CREEK – Maurice J. Collins, 46, of Erie, Pennsylvania, was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated and moving from lane unsafely. At 2:09 a.m., deputies patrolling the French Creek area came upon a vehicle in the ditch alongside Old Road. The operator was identified as Collins. Following an investigation, Collins was found to allegedly be intoxicated and he was taken into custody. He was transported to the sheriff’s office in Mayville for processing, where he refused a chemical breath test. He was taken to French Creek Town Court for arraignment on the above charges. Collins was then remanded to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1,000 property bond. He will appear in French Creek Town Court next month.

STEAMBURG – Ricky W. Barber, 59, of Coldspring was charged Feb. 5 with petit larceny. On Jan. 22, deputies received a complaint of stolen cigarette cartons from the Turtle Pit. Barber was identified as the perpetrator of the incident and was taken into custody on Feb. 5. He is to appear in Coldspring Town Court on Tuesday.
OLEAN – Christina Sanford,44, of Olean was charged Tuesday with fifth-degree welfare fraud, petit larceny and four counts of first-degree offering a false instrument for filing. Sanford allegedly received $650 in cash assistance from June 2012 to December 2014 that she and her family were not entitled to. She was arraigned at and released on recognizance from Olean City Court to appear again at a later date.
SALAMANCA – Heather M. Chase, 23, of Salamanca was charged Feb. 8 with third-degree assault. Police said Chase was taken into custody on an active warrant for assault. She was taken for arraignment at Great Valley Town Court and was remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail on bail. She is to appear in court at a later date.

Bridget M. Bardo, 32, of Conewango was charged Friday with fugitive from justice. At 11 a.m., police apprehended Bardo on two outstanding bench warrants by the Jamestown City Court. Daniel R. McKay, 21, of Jamestown, was charged at 3:58 p.m. Monday with obstructing government administration and several felony warrants. Officers observed Daniel “Danny” McKay looking out of the front door of 18 Phillips. He was wanted on several felony warrants and has appeared on the city’s most wanted list. Officers searched the residence and located McKay hiding above the ceiling in the attic. McKay was taken into custody and transported to city jail where he awaits arraignment.
Warren L. Piazza, 69, of Jamestown was charged at 1:59 p.m. Tuesday with aggravated driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and moving from lane unsafely. When officers responded to West Fifth Street at Fairmount Avenue for a two-car property damage accident, they located a Chevy pickup truck up against a parked and unoccupied van on the side of the road. It is alleged that the truck driver-Piazza-was intoxicated. He was transported to the city jail, where he is awaiting arraignment.

LAKEWOOD – Bryan Torres, 20, of Jamestown was charged Thursday at 6:14 p.m. with failure to signal and second-degree criminal contempt after a traffic stop on East Fairmount Avenue. It is alleged that the passenger in the vehicle had an order of protection against Torres. Torres will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
LAKEWOOD – Bryonna S. Vickers, 19, and Trevor D. Patterson, 21, both of Bronx, were charged on Feb. 8 with petit larceny and criminal mischief. It is alleged that both individuals entered the Walmart in Lakewood and proceeded to retrieve a set of bed sheets. Patterson then brought the sheets to customer service and returned them without paying for them. He received a Wal-Mart gift cart valued at approximately $60. Vickers proceeded to take several clothing items and placed them into her purse, police said. The pair met up and began to take several food items. Both went to the self-checkout lane and reportedly scanned only a small portion of the items, while placing the remaining the bags. Some of the stolen items were perishable and were eventually rendered unsellable and damaged. The total items stolen valued approximately $180. Wal-Mart Loss Prevention had observed the entire incident. Both individuals will appear in Busti Court.
LAKEWOOD – Anthony Rios, 23, Ariel Morales-Rosario, 19, Dayan Morales, 18, and a 16-year-old male, all of Jamestown, were charged at 4:45 p.m. on Feb. 2 with petit larceny, fourth-degree criminal mischief and conspiracy. It is alleged that the four individuals stole $250.80 worth of merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. It is also alleged that $98.52 worth of merchandise was damaged. Rios, Morales-Rosario and Morales were charged with endangering the welfare of a child for reportedly committing these crimes in the presence of a 16-year-old. All will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

ELLERY-Isaiah J. Graham, 29, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with blood alcohol content of .18 percent or greater and failure to maintain lane. At 3:30 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a vehicle off the road on Maple Grove Road in Ellery. It was alleged that the driver-Graham-was intoxicated. He will appear in Ellery Court at a later date. Graham was transferred to the Jamestown Police Department to answer for outstanding warrants.
POMFRET-Robert P. Gonzalez Jr., 30, of Westfield was charged Feb. 4 with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and first-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. At 10:46 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Route 20 in Pomfret. It is alleged that the vehicle’s passenger-Gonzalez-was in possession of a digital scale covered in a white powdery substance. The scale was seized for testing, and the powdery substance tested positive for cocaine. The paraphernalia charge was made a felony due to a prior conviction of criminally using drug paraphernalia. On Sunday, officers from the Westfield Police Department located Gonzalez and turned him into the Sheriff’s Office. He was remanded to the county jail on $5,000 cash or $10,000 property bond.

Randall J. Langworthy, 32, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with two counts of first-degree criminal contempt and an aggravated family offense. At 8:30 p.m., police responded to 13 W. 18th St. for a domestic incident. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a female victim at the location who said Langworthy was at her residence, but left on foot. Officers located and detained Langworthy a short distance away. He allegedly had a valid order of protection to stay away from the victim and another victim of the residence. Since he was convicted of criminal contempt in the preceding five years, the charge became a felony. He was transported to the city jail without incident.

At 12:24 a.m., police observed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign on Hunt Road in Busti and cross the center yellow lines multiple times, intentionally trying to fishtail through the snow. POMFRET – Dior M. Jackson, 25, of Getzville was charged at 3:04 a.m. Sunday with no tail lamps, driving while intoxicated and diving while intoxicated per se. Deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 60 in the town of Pomfret for driving without tail lights. Upon investigation, police said Jackson, the driver of the vehicle, was intoxicated. He was taken into custody, charged and later released with tickets. He will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.
Justin H. Myers, 25, of 221 E. Eighth St., Jamestown, was charged at 6 p.m. Sunday with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief. These charges stem from an incident that occurred in the town of Harmony where police said Myers broke a window to gain entry into a residence. Once inside, police said he stole a 12-gauge shotgun and a 7mm bolt action rifle. He was arraigned in North Harmony Town Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.

Thomas W. Berry, 27, of Jamestown, was charged at 12:45 p.m. Sunday with four counts of second-degree criminal contempt. Officers were called to 36 Bush St. for a report of a violation of an order of protection at the residence. Officers located the suspect, Berry, inside the residence with the victims, police said. Berry has a valid order of protection to stay away from all four victims issued from Jamestown City Court, according to police. He was charged and transported to city jail without further incident.
Daniel R. Lucariello, 28, of 20 Colfax St., Jamestown, was charged at 2:59 a.m. Sunday with two counts of second-degree obstructing governmental administration. Officers were dispatched to a suspicious situation in front of 20 Colfax St. Upon arrival, officers located Lucariello, who was highly intoxicated, police said. Officers were helping Lucariello to gain entry into his apartment where they found his brother highly intoxicated in front of the residence. Lucariello’s brother was so intoxicated he required medical attention. Lucariello would not let officers help his brother and was warned several times that he would be arrested if he did not stop. He also initially refused to get in a patrol car to be transported to jail where he was charged without further incident, police said.

BUSTI – Kenneth J. Kimmy, 44, of North East, Pa., was charged at 1:15 a.m. Sunday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right, speed not reasonable and unlicensed operator. Lakewood-Busti Police responded to Shadyside Road, in the town of Busti, for a rollover motor-vehicle accident. After investigation, it was found that Kenneth J. Kimmy was operating the vehicle when the accident occurred. It was found that he was intoxicated while operating the vehicle. He was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the town of Busti Court at a later date.

Brian J. Kleinfelder, 31, of Dewittville was charged Saturday with fourth-degree grand larceny. Ellicott Police were called to Gamerz Haven on Fairmount Avenue to investigate a possible theft by an employee. Investigation led to Kleinfelder being charged with stealing merchandise on numerous occasions over the last three months, police said. The value of the merchandise stolen is in excess of $1,000. He was issued an appearance ticket and will be in Ellicott Court at a later date.
Lauren M. Miller, 28, of 1428 Warren Jamestown Boulevard, Jamestown, was charged at midnight Sunday with driving while intoxicated, brake light out and driving while intoxicated per se, blood alcohol content .08 percent or more. Ellicott officers performed a routine traffic stop and upon further investigation it was found that Miller was driving while intoxicated, police said. She was issued an appearance ticket and uniform traffic tickets. She is due to appear in the town of Ellicott Court at a later date to answer to the charges.
Shauna M. Smeal, 19, of Cuba, was charged Sunday with endangering the welfare of a minor and unlawful possession of marijuana. During a vehicle and traffic stop conducted by the Town of Ellicott Police, Smeal, the owner and passenger of the vehicle, was found to be allowing a 15-year-old male to operate the vehicle and found to be in possession of marijuana. Smeal was arraigned in the town of Ellicott Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail. She is scheduled to return to the town of Ellicott Court at a later date.

Erik G. Alicea, 28, of Falconer received multiple charges Sunday. At 1:14 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle for speeding near the intersection of Foote and Harrison streets. Investigation revealed that the driver, Alicea, was intoxicated. Also in the vehicle was a 13-year-old female and a 14-year-old female. During the investigation, officers noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from the car. With the assistance of K9 Mitchell, marijuana was located inside the vehicle. Alicea was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail for the charges of driving while intoxicated, two counts of aggravated DWI with a child, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, unlawful possession of marijuana and speeding.
Eleuthern C. Hunter, 36, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, no headlights, failure to keep right and failure to comply with officers Saturday. At 2:50 a.m., officers observed a vehicle stopped at the stop light at North Main Street and West Second Street without headlights on. The vehicle proceeded south on North Main Street and failed to keep right. Officers then attempted a traffic stop, and the vehicle failed to comply with officers’ attempts to stop the vehicle for several blocks. Officers stopped the vehicle and identified Hunter as the operator of the vehicle. Officers could smell a strong odor of intoxicants coming from Hunter’s mouth. Hunter was found to be intoxicated and was transported to Jamestown City Jail.

Hollie M. Petroff, 30, of Sherman was charged with petit larceny Saturday at approximately 3:45 p.m. at the Dollar General in Lakewood. It is alleged that Petroff selected a pair of shoes valuing $10 and exited the store without paying. Petroff was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Busti Town Court at a later date.

KIANTONE – Torrey D. Johnson, 42, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, having a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher and insufficient headlights. At 2:35 a.m. Sunday, patrol stopped a vehicle for having a headlight out on Route 60 in Kiantone. The operator was identified as Johnson and, following investigation, was taken into custody and charged. He will answer the charges in Kiantone Town Court at a later date.
ARKWRIGHT – On Friday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Fire Investigation Team was requested by Forestville Fire Department to find the cause and origin of a barn fire. Members of the Fire Investigation Team responded to 9265 Putnam Road in the town of Arkwright. Following an investigation, investigators determined the fire was caused by a portable electric heater placed against combustible material. All animals were removed from the barn safely and no injuries were reported.
CHARLOTTE – Tiffinni T. Keyes, 18, of Randolph was charged Saturday with improper passing and failure to keep right. At 5:58 p.m., Keyes was southbound on Route 60 in the town of Charlotte when she allegedly conducted an unsafe pass on a blind corner. Keyes and a northbound vehicle sideswiped, sending both vehicles off the roadway. Keyes’ vehicle struck a tree head-on, and the northbound vehicle struck a snow embankment. Three victims were taken to WCA Hospital for minor injuries. Keyes was issued traffic tickets and will appear in Charlotte Town Court at a later date.
FRENCH CREEK – Leonard Morrison, 25, of North East, Pennsylvania, and Amanda Kaiser, 25, of Erie, Pennsylvania, were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana Tuesday. At approximately 8:30 p.m., deputies allegedly observed a vehicle perform an unsafe start at the intersection of Olde Road and Griffin Road in the town of French Creek. Deputies stopped the vehicle and identified Leonard as its operator and Kaiser as the passenger. Through a brief investigation, deputies allege that both parties were in possession of a small amount of marijuana and were subsequently taken into custody. Morrison was additionally charged with unsafe start. Both were later released to appear in French Creek Town Court at a later date.
MAYVILLE – Trevor R. Miller, 33, of Mayville was charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana, failure to stop at a stop sign and inadequate signal. At 4:55 p.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on East Chautauqua Street in Mayville for allegedly failing to stop at a stop sign and inadequate use of its turn signal. Miller was identified as the operator and, through investigation, was allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana. He was taken into custody for the violations and later released to appear in Chautauqua Town Court at a later date.
STOCKTON – Chad M. Steward, 26, of Cherry Creek was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher and speeding. At approximately 2:35 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding on Stockton Hill Road in the town of Stockton. Investigation found the operator, Steward, to be intoxicated, police said. Steward was taken into custody and charged. He was later released and is scheduled to appear in Stockton Town Court next month to answer the charges.

Himes, 22, of 1525 Old Chautauqua Road, Gerry, was charged at 11:14 p.m. Thursday with second-degree criminal impersonation and second-degree obstruction of governmental administration. A Lakewood-Busti Police officer was on patrol on Forest Avenue Extension and observed a subject fail to signal a turn. Upon further investigation, a passenger in the vehicle, Himes reportedly gave the officer a false name in order to avoid detection of an outstanding warrant out of Jamestown. He was charged, released with an appearance ticket and turned over to the Jamestown Police Department on their active warrant. He will appear in the town of Busti Court to answer charges at a later date.
BUSTI – Shondell D. Williams, 18, of Jamestown, was charged at 4:15 p.m. Thursday with petit larceny after reportedly stealing a phone charger valued at $34.96. He was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the town of Busti Court at a later date.

Hardinger, 46, of Jamestown, was charged at 11:45 a.m. on Thursday for allegedly failing to notify the county Department of Social Services that her two children were no longer residing with her, that she was married and her spouse was employed. The unreported issues reportedly allowed for Hardinger to receive $4,663 in unentitled benefits. She was charged with first-degree offering a false instrument for filing, and misuse of food stamps, which is a felony. Hardinger is scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

ELLERY – Danielle M. Orville, 28, of Fairfield School Road, Columbiana, Ohio, was charged at 5:36 p.m. on Saturday with snowmobiling while intoxicated. The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Snowmobile Division was patrolling the trail system in the town of Ellery and came upon a snowmobile accident. The snowmobile was driven off of the marked snowmobile trail, struck a small tree and became stuck. Further investigation found the operator of the snowmobile, Danielle M. Orville, to be intoxicated, police said. She was processed and released to appear in the town of Ellery Court at a later date. No injuries occurred.

Julianne Highum, 49, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with no/inadequate headlight, failure to notify Department of Motor Vehicles of change of address and driving while intoxicated. At 2:07 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle near the intersection of Prendergast Avenue at East Fifth Street. It is alleged that the driver-Highum-was intoxicated. She was transported to the city jail where she reportedly refused a chemical breath test.
Brandon M. Moriarty, 24, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with fourth-degree grand larceny and two counts of petit larceny. At 3:36 a.m., police responded to a Maple Street address for a report of a suspicious male entering vehicles. It is alleged that Moriarty was in the process of stealing numerous items from the victim’s vehicle. He was transported to the city jail where he is pending arraignment.

Richard J. Edwards, 25, of Erie, Pennsylvania was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, disorderly conduct, unregistered motor vehicle and uninsured motor vehicle. During a traffic stop, it was determined that Edwards allegedly had suspended driving privileges in New York state, as well as an unregistered and uninsured vehicle. It is also alleged that he had two kinds of controlled substance and marijuana. He was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.

HANOVER-Alex J. Tye, 26, of Fredonia was charged Monday with first-degree attempted robbery, first-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree conspiracy and second-degree menacing. It is alleged that Tye gained entry into a residence on Lodi Street on Jan. 24, and demanded money from the occupants inside. An arrest warrant was issued and Tye was taken into custody Monday on North Road in Pomfret. He was committed to the county jail on $20,000 cash/$40,000 property bond.

ELLERY-Keith H. Mitchell, 50, and Monica M. Mitchell, both of Alabama, were charged Tuesday with three counts of second-degree felony criminal possession of a weapon after they were allegedly found with three loaded handguns and no New York state pistol permits. They were committed to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.
Jamie L. Boye, 32, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated and failure to stop at a stop sign after he was allegedly observed failing to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Newton and Lakeview at approximately 2:30 a.m. After field sobriety tests, Boye was transported to the State Police barracks in Jamestown where a blood alcohol content of .19 was obtained. He will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
KENNEDY-Layla D. Carlson, 31, of Kennedy was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right and speed not reasonable for conditions when police found her walking along the roadway about at approximately 12:45 a.m. after reportedly driving her van off the road on the I-86 on-ramp in Kennedy. A strong odor of alcohol was detected, and after field tests, Carlson was taken to the State Police barracks in Jamestown where a BAC of .10 was obtained. She will appear in Poland Court at a later date.

At 11:21 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle on Fairmount Avenue that reportedly had a head lamp out. It is alleged that the vehicle’s passengers-Melquist and Sheldon-were in possession of marijuana. The driver-Stephanie Smith of Jamestown-was given a traffic citation for having a head lamp out. All three will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
