JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
– Connor A. Dale, 19, was charged May 20 with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and having active bench warrants. According to police, at about 1:30 a.m., officers responded to the northeast side for a report of a male attempting to enter vehicles. Officers located Dale, who was in the area, and matched the description that was provided. Officers, police said, were aware that Dale had active bench warrants through Jamestown City Court, and subsequently placed him into custody before taking him to Jamestown City Jail. He will be in city court later.
– Chet A. Anthony, 33, of Jamestown, was charged May 20 with being a fugitive from justice. According to police, at about 11:36 a.m., officers were on patrol on the north side, when they observed Anthony, who was known to be wanted by the Warren County Sheriff’s Offices in Pennsylvania for cruelty to animals. Anthony was placed into custody, and taken to the city jail, where he is awaiting extradition.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
– Trevor J. Kneer, 26, of Sherman, was charged May 19 with second-degree criminal contempt. According to officials, at about 1:20 p.m., deputies were dispatched to an address in the town of Sherman for reports of an order of protection violation. Through investigation, it was found that Kneer allegedly did violate an active order of protection. Kneer Placed into custody and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized processing. He will be in Sherman Town Court later.
