WESTFIELD — North East Welch Federal Credit Union held its annual Community Day Celebration on Friday, Aug. 5 at the branch office located at 21 N Portage St., Westfield. Participants enjoyed free hot dogs, chips, pop, and giveaways. One lucky winner received a $100 VISA Gift Card as well as seven additional winners of $10 ShopLocalCHQ gift cards.

“We were very excited to be able to bring this event to the Westfield community again this year and we were thrilled with the turnout and community support. We’re hoping to see an even greater attendance at our upcoming seminar on Budgeting in October.” said Susan Maas, CEO, North East Welch FCU.

This year NE Welch FCU partnered with Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue to help them fundraise for their dog shelter. CU members generously donated to NCCR, providing many supplies needed as well as a donation of $294. The Credit Union was also very proud to present an additional $500 donation, courtesy of the LSC #ILoveMyCreditUnion Day campaign.
