Several seventh and eighth grade students were inducted into the Southwestern Middle School Junior Honor Society recently. Candidates are selected on the basis of scholarship, leadership, character, service, and citizenship.

Students earning induction are:

7th Grade: Elorna Barnett, Jaslynn Heglund, Katelyn Bishop, Clarissa Hren, Lincoln Bockrath, Lilyauna Hutzler, Kellan Brown, Kaleb James, Sophia Cama, Makenna Johnson, Thomas Chase, Elise Kartesz, Molly Colburn, Emma Lewis, Anna Conley, Mikaela Luce, Lyla Conley, Ava Ptti, Marlana Cresanti, Annika Ricker, Clair Devlieger, Mackenzie Rogers, Mackenzie Ernewein, Charlotte Rovegno, Kayden Furlow, Lilly Scarsone, Juliet Genareo, Jack Slater, Olivia Goeckel, Evan Strong, Eleanor Hagel, Reagan Stutzman, Catelyn Hanson, Lillian Weikel, Oscar Harris.

The induction ceremony was held in Southwestern High School auditorium. Marge Gustafson is the Southwestern Middle School Jr. Honor Society advisor. New members of the Southwestern Middle School Jr. Honor Society were congratulated by Rich Rybicki, middle school principal and Maureen Donahue, district superintendent.
