The Jamestown Area YMCA recently held its Captains’ Dinner to prepare for the 32nd YMCA Battle of the Businesses taking place Sept. 7-14. The dinner was held at the Southern Tier Brewery in Lakewood under the direction of Tom Anderson, Lakewood YMCA branch manager and battle director. This year’s competition, sponsored by BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York, Greater Chautauqua Federal Credit Union and Eventz by Scott, will include 21 events.
