Brocton Man Charged With Meth Production

BROCTON – A Brocton man suspected of producing methamphetamine was taken into custody Tuesday on an outstanding arrest warrant.

Aaron J. Clark, 28, was charged with third-degree unlawful manufacturing of meth after members of the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force allegedly found meth-producing items on the upper level of a 96 Central Ave. residence.

The items were seized and taken into evidence. Some had to be destroyed due to the toxicity level of the meth production, police said.

A large quantity of suspected meth oil was also located. Police said the oil will be processed at a laboratory – at which point, Clark will be additionally charged with second-degree criminal possession of meth.

Clark was arraigned in Brocton Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash or $40,000 property bond.

Starting at $3.50/week.
