Author Series At Hazeltine Public Library To

Conclude Today

BUSTI — The author series at the Hazeltine Public Library will conclude today with an appearance by local author Bob Terreberry. Terreberry has served in the U.S. Navy, is a retired special education teacher and spent 13 years as the director of the Foster Grandparent Program. He has written a trio of mystery novels set in Maple Springs. Terreberry’s discussion begins at 6:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public, no reservations are required. Tuesday

The Jamestown Public Schools Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Lincoln Elementary School auditorium, 301 Front St., Jamestown. The public is welcome to attend.

Chaut. Sports Hall Of Fame Speaker

Presenting On Tuesday

ELLINGTON — The Ellington Farman Library, with Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame speaker Randy Anderson, will be presenting the program “Bill Rexford: NASCAR’S Forgotten Champion” on Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. Rexford is still the youngest driver to ever win the National Association Stock Car Automobile Racing (NASCAR) Grand National. The former Conewango Valley resident was 23 when he captured the title. Anderson will be speaking and there is expected to be much memorabilia from relatives and local racing enthusiasts. Light refreshments will be served. No registration needed for this free program but seating is limited. The Ellington Farman Library is located at 760 Thornton Road, Ellington.
