JHS Class OF 1971 To Host Reunion July 2

The Jamestown High School Class of 1971 will celebrate its 55th anniversary at the Moon Brook Country Club on Thursday, July 2. The evening will include a cash bar, hors d’oeuvres at 5:30 p.m., DJ music from 6 until 10 p.m., and a buffet dinner at 6:30 p.m. Those attending should respond to the invitation sent in the mail as soon as possible.

Southwestern Class Of 1981 To Host Reunion July 4

Members of the Southwestern Central School Class of 1981 will host a reunion at the YWCA Lake Lodge on Chautauqua Lake in Lakewood on Saturday, July 4, from noon to 4 p.m. A picnic lunch will be served at 1 p.m. There is no cost for 1981 graduates and their guests, though reservations are requested so enough food and drinks can be ordered. Reservations can be sent to Debbie Cromey at financemom07@gmail.com. Those who don’t make reservations are still welcome to attend.

St. Luke’s Thrift Shop Open Saturday

St. Luke’s Thrift Shop, 409 Pine St., between E. Fourth and E. Fifth streets, will be open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The shop is well stocked with summer clothing for everyone and a large selection of small housewares. Sale items include ladies tops, plus sized clothing and shoes at half-price. Pants are $1, buy one get one free. Men’s long sleeve shirts are half off. Regular shopping hours are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All proceeds used for outreach locally.
