City Officials Seek Contact Info

The Jamestown Police Department, Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce, city Department of Development and the Jamestown Renaissance Corporation have been working to provide a safer downtown and increase foot traffic. The groups seek to collect the most recent and accurate information from local businesses for first responders in case of an emergency. A form has been put together so first responders know who to contact if there is an emergency at the business. “Updating your emergency contact information for your business is also important because many times the information on file is the building owner not the business owner,” JPD said in a message posted to Facebook. “If you are interested in updating your information, send us a private message or email info@jpdny.com and the link will be sent to you.”
