Ethics Board To Meet Today

MAYVILLE — The Chautauqua County Ethics Board will meet at 4 p.m. Monday, July 27, in Room 331 of the Gerace Office Building, 3 N. Erie St., Mayville. Current members of the board are Susan Dilks, John Lloyd, David Rowe, Rose Sebouhian and Mary Kay Szwejbka. Those attending the meeting must wear a face covering, adhere to social distancing measures, and will be screened for the symptoms of COVID-19 prior to entering the building. Mobile Pantry Truck To Be At Ashville UM

ASHVILLE — The Food Bank of Western New York Mobile Pantry Truck from Falconer will be at the Ashville United Methodist Church on Tuesday. Open hours are 10 a.m. to noon and 3-5 p.m. The truck brings fresh produce and some staple items. To receive free food, only proof of address from the following ZIP codes is required: Ashville 14710, Bemus Point 14712, Celoron 14720, Lakewood 14750, Niobe 14758, Panama 14767, Stow 14785 and anyone who lives in the town of Busti. Those attending are asked to wear a face mask and keep 6 feet distance while in line. The food will be pre-boxed like last month. For more information, call Martha at 763-9252.

Southern TEA Party Patriots To Meet Tuesday

The Southern TEA Party Patriots will hold their first general meeting since the COVID-19 outbreak on Tuesday at the Lakewood American Legion, (174 Chautauqua Ave. at 7 p.m. Sheriff Jim Quattrone will be featured for the evening giving an update on the bail reform enacted by the state, Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s imposition of racial policies on county policing and other matters pertaining to the Sheriff’s Office. There will be time for questions from the those in attendance. Those attending are asked to respect the COVID policies adopted by the local legion by wearing a mask and being seated as it arranged on site. The event is planned for Facebook Live on the TEA Party Patriots (Jamestown NY) Facebook page. Included also will be Ami Horowitz with “Ami on the Loose” interviewing New York City residents about defunding the police and a video by Dennis Prager. All are invited. IDA Meeting Set Via Live Stream

The Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency will meet at 10 a.m. July 28 via live stream on YouTube instead of a public meeting open for the public to attend in person. Members of the public may view the meeting by visiting YouTube and searching “County of Chautauqua IDA”. Once on the webpage, viewers can click on “videos” to watch the live stream. Minutes of the board meeting will transcribed and posted on the agency’s website once approved by the board. The agenda will be posted to ccida.com under “News” and “Agenda” prior to the start of the meeting.
