Unacceptable Behavior For Snowmobilers

To the Readers Forum: Recently my two girlfriends and I set out for an afternoon cross county ski on a trail shared with cross country skiers, hikers, and snowmobilers. The snow conditions were good and the trail was well groomed and very wide. As the trails were busy with snowmobilers, we stayed to the right occupying one third of the trail. During our ski we encountered many snowmobilers who were courteous, slowed down, formed a single line and waved as they passed us. Kicking The Public Out For Voting Is Unacceptable

Once again, the NCC and The Gebbie Foundation have shown their disdain for the people of Jamestown. According to the agreement with the DOT, when the train station was restored for the use by the people of Jamestown, it stipulated the public shall not be kept out of the train station lobby anytime the lobby is open. Look at the language the NCC uses towards the people of Jamestown — “(the NCC) will insist that you find an alternate location in the future as it is a hardship going forward. Concerns Expressed About City Council Meetings

To The Reader’s Forum: I have been watching City Council meetings more than a few times in 2020. I would like to recap a few concerns I have seen at these meetings. The amount of time wasted is astounding. For example, three months talking about where to put ONE food cart. It was an endless, blathering discussion. Maddening to listen to.
