LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT — Damien R. Abrams, 21, of Jamestown, was charged with petit larceny. An officer was completing an area check at Walmart on Thursday when the officer observed a male who appeared to be stealing merchandise. An investigation determined the male was stealing $129 in items from the store. Abrams is scheduled to appear in court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT — Richard A. Goodman III, 38, no address listed, was charged with second-degree menacing and resisting arrest. Officers responded at 2:34 p.m. Wednesday to the east side of the city for an unwanted person. Upon arrival, officers located Goodman in a parking lot acting disorderly. Officers also learned that Goodman had allegedly menaced a woman with a metal fork, causing her to fear for her safety. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT — Dion J. Carr, 38, of Jamestown, was charged with resisting arrest and false personation. Officers stopped a male walking near the corner of West Fifth and Washington streets at 11:53 p.m. Tuesday. The male was identified as Carr after providing officers with a false name several times. Carr was found to have an active bench warrant out of the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and attempted to run away before he was quickly taken into custody. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT — Nicole E. Rucker, 31, no address listed, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers responded at 12:40 a.m. Tuesday to the south side of the city for a reported domestic dispute. Officers learned that Rucker allegedly broke property during the dispute. Rucker was taken into custody and later found with a quantity of crack cocaine. Rucker was held for arraignment in court. — Nathan M. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT — Brianna L. Leis, 26, of Jamestown, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child. Officers responded at 7:30 a.m. Friday to the parking area outside the Jamestown Police Department for an in-progress domestic incident. Leis was located in one vehicle with an adult male and a juvenile female in another vehicle. An investigation found that Leis allegedly threw a brick at the other vehicle during a verbal argument several minutes prior on a north side street. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE – PORTLAND – Thomas A. Schimd Jr., 33, of Portland, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Deputies responded at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday to Ellicott Road in the town of Portland for a disorderly person. An investigation found that Schmid allegedly violated an active stay away order of protection. Schimd was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment.
