JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT — Kelly B. Hodges, 61, no address listed, was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, driving/wrong direction on one-way street, uninspected motor vehicle and no seat belt. Police observed a vehicle at 1:43 p.m. Thursday traveling the wrong way on a one-way street. An investigation found that Hodges was allegedly operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. She is scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court later. — Cody D. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT — Megan E. Feldt, 41, no address listed, was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers stopped a vehicle at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the area of Prather Avenue and Forest Avenue for observed traffic infractions. A search of the vehicle turned up four loose clonazepam pills without a prescription. Feldt, the driver of the vehicle, was transported to Jamestown City Jail. During a search at the jail, Feldt was found with a small quantity of crack cocaine. She is scheduled to appear later in Jamestown City ...

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT — Schuyler Coleman, 26, of Jamestown, was charged with third-degree falsely reporting an incident. Officers responded at 9 p.m. Wednesday to a North Main Street business for a reported stabbing incident. Coleman stated that he was stabbed in the abdomen, though an investigation found that no stabbing had taken place. Police found that Schuyler had no marks or stab wounds. CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE — Shylia Dunning, 35, of Dayton, was charged with third-degree grand larceny following an investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau with the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office. Dunning was processed at the Gowanda Municipal Building and issued an appearance ticket. Dunning is scheduled to appear back in court at a later date.

Bomb threat probed at WACS WESTFIELD — A bomb threat was investigated on Tuesday at Westfield Academy and Central Schools. According to county Sheriff James Quattrone, the building was evacuated “out of an abundance of caution. Our bomb detection team and bomb detection dogs as well. (We) cleared the building with no incidents.” Students were taken to the Lakeshore Assembly of God church in Westfield. Man Charged After Girl Seen In Road A female lying on a road in the town of Ellicott on Friday has led to charges against a 48-year-old man. At about 3:19 p.m., town of Ellicott police were called to a suspicious situation on West Oak Hill Road at Johnson Road after it was reported a male was standing above a teenager in the road. Responding officers located the vehicle matching the description being driven by Roman Arrance with a 16-year-old girl. An investigation determined that Arrance had picked up the girl in the city of Jamestown and entered the town of Ellicott where the ...
