Sean Verbosky Signs With SUNY Geneseo
Maple Grove’s Sean Verbosky signs with SUNY Geneseo to continue his academic and athletic career. Sean Verbosky, a senior at Maple Grove High School, will continue his running career next year at SUNY Geneseo.
Verbosky capped off his high school cross country career this fall as a Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association first-team all-star and with a 3rd place finish at the CCAA Championships, a 3rd place individual finish at the Section VI Class D Championships as his team placed 1st, and a 12th place overall finish in the NYS Class D Championship race.
He was also 2nd team all Western New York and 3rd Team All-State in Class D.
Coached by Dan Moore, Geneseo has one of the top Division III distance programs in the country, with a notable 3rd place finish at the NCAA Cross Country Championship Meet in 2022.
