Trojans’ Harris Homers Again

ALLEGANY — Oscar Harris hit his third home run of the season as part of a 3-for-3 day as Southwestern blanked Allegany-Limestone 13-0 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 baseball Thursday.

Harris also doubled, drove in four runs and scored three times as the Trojans improved to 3-3 overall and 3-2 in the league.

George Marshall had two hits, including a double, drove in a pair of runs and scored twice; Gavin Anderson had two hits, an RBI and three runs scored; and Wilson Genareo singled twice, drove in two runs and scored three times for Southwestern.

Genareo also tossed a five-inning complete game with 11 strikeouts and two walks while allowing three hits.

Nolan Zink had two hits, including a double, for the Gators (4-9, 1-6).

NORTH EAST

BLANKS WESTFIELD

WESTFIELD — An eight-run third inning sent North East (Pa.) to a 10-0 nonleague win over Westfield.

Joey Russo, Joel Stein, Ian Kindermann, Trent Ramm and Parker Covert each singled for the Wolverines (4-2).

Russo pitched three innings of one-run, one-hit relief with six strikeouts.

Braydon Cornman went 2 for 4 with a double, a home run, four RBIs and two runs scored while Colton Owens also had two hits, including a home run, for the Grape Pickers (5-7).

ELLICOTTVILLE

COLLECTS 13 HITS

NORTH COLLINS — Carson Mendell went 3 for 3 with two RBIs and three runs scored as Ellicottville pounded out 13 hits in a 20-5 Division 3 win over North Collins.

Cameron Mendell was 2 for 3 with three walks, an RBI and two runs scored; Rylan Benjamin was 2 for 5 with an RBI and three runs scored; and Brody Erlandson doubled, drove in a run and scored a run for Ellicottville (8-2, 5-2), which took a 16-3 lead with 11 runs in the third and fourth innings.

Jon Rice singled and drove in a pair of runs for North Collins (2-9, 2-5).
