Myers Scores Twice For F/CV

RANDOLPH — Haydn Myers had two goals and an assist to lead Falconer/Cassadaga Valley to a 3-0 shutout of Randolph in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association East Division boys soccer Wednesday.

Jacob Ansell also scored for the Golden Cougars (8-4-0, 6-2-0) while Alex Reynolds and Ian Andersen each had an assist.

The Cardinals fell to 3-7-1 overall and 2-6-0 in the league.

RED RAIDERS DOWN MARAUDERS

DUNKIRK — Jamestown defeated Dunkirk 7-1 in West Division play.

Jamestown was led by a hat trick from Noah Rivera, two goals from Andreas Pacheco, and one goal from both Tyler Maloney and Evan Sharpe. Both Rivera and Pacheco had two assists, while Jeremiah Miranda and John Torres registered one assist each. Evan Sharpe made two saves in the first half and Logan Mcintosh made eight in the second half.

The lone Marauders’ goal came from Anthony Piede assisted by Brady Corbett. Ashton Witkowski made 16 saves for the Marauders.

Dunkirk fell to 0-5-0 in league and overall while Jamestown improved to 1-5-0 overall and 1-4-0 in league.
