Liam Sharpe hammered out four hits with a home run and a double, and Nick Russell pounded out two home runs and a triple to lead the offensive attack as Falconer opened tournament play with a 16-9 win over Hanover.

Gavin Curtis added two triples and Chase Bianco had two hits with a double.

Curtis, Bianco and Sharpe combined to throw a six-hitter with 10 strikeouts.

Manny Sanchez led Hanover with three hits, while Mayson Simmons added two singles.
