Wefing 14th In 1,500-Meter Prelims
KINGSVILLE, Tex. – Edinboro University’s Corey Wefing (Maple Springs /Maple Grove) finished 14th while competing in the preliminary round of the 1,500-meter run at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field National Championships on Thursday.
Wefing finished with a time of 4:03.23, finishing fifth in his heat and 14th overall. The top 12 qualifiers advanced to Saturday’s finals, with 19 runners competing.
