Life Changing Encounters With True Heroes To The Reader’s Forum: In The Post-Journal (April 8, 2020) an article about a life changing encounter by Kevin Davenport regarding Mike Walker was true. I know because he was my neighbor. However, Kevin himself was a true hero and also an inspiration to many others. He was a natural leader. Watching him play sports with no complaints despite struggles with his health made him a person many people looked up to. His parents also deserve a lot of credit for his positive attitude. A Thank You To The Easter ‘Parade’

To The Reader’s Forum: On Saturday afternoon, April 4, a “parade” consisting of four pick-up trucks passed by our house on Newland Avenue. They were decorated with balloons, playing music, occupants waving and riding in the back of one truck was the Easter Bunny. Thank you! To The Reader’s Forum: In Chautauqua County we have had very few cases of coronavirus thanks in part to our low population and doing our best at staying apart. That could all change as tourism season ramps up. Does Chautauqua Institution have a plan? Does Chautauqua health services have a plan? Do our hospitals have a plan? If they do, great.
