Acknowledge Negatives Of A Green Economy, Too

To The Reader’s Forum:

Mr. Sellstrom tells us to welcome change, even though that change does not take into view all the negative things that that change involves. He is totally in favor of “electrification.” Hopefully he is not sitting on I-90 during a blizzard. He could only hope and pray that a car near him has a gasoline engine and will allow him to warm up. As Europe has discovered, wind and solar are not able to supply the necessary power. The turbines are not recyclable and what will we do with all the dead batteries? What third world nation wants us to poison their soil?

When it was rumored, they were coming after our gas stoves, my Democratic Friend said firmly “it won’t happen!” Guess what? Two weeks later Governor Hochul said it would.

Unless you want to live in a world we don’t recognize anymore, wake up and stand up! We used to be energy independent. We have clean natural gas that gave us a booming economy, so let’s use it!
