Kathy Rae (Bennett) Cherry, 74, of Ashville, NY, passed away peacefully with family at her side on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at UPMC Chautauqua Hospital in Jamestown, NY, following a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. She was born Aug. 10, 1951, in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of the late Raymond O. Bennett and Betty L. Corbett. Kathy was a 1969 graduate of Sto-Rox High School, McKees Rocks, PA, and soon earned an Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design from the Community College of Allegheny County.
