Ruth E. (Barrett) Witherite

She was born August 2, 1928 in Kerrmoor, Pa. the daughter of the late Perry and Sadie Mae (Wiley) Barrett. .

Ruth attended the Mahaffey High School in Mahaffey, Pa. She was a self- employed Home Health Care Aide in the Randolph Area and was also a Home Maker.

In her younger years, she attended the Cherry Corner Church in Pennsylvania and enjoyed playing the guitar, singing and gardening. She also enjoyed going to Casinos with her sisters

She is survived by a daughter; Janice (Randy) Biscup of Randolph, three grandchildren; children Randy Biscup Jr, Ariane Hudson and Alyssa Witherite, 4 great grandchildren and two siblings, Dennis Barrett and Carol Stiles both of Pennsylvania.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Sadie Mae, husband Charles Witherite in 1970, a daughter Teri Witherite, a son, Alan C. (Stephanie) Witherite, and siblings, Elwood, Boyd, Glenn, Calvin, Delain, Yvonne, Patricia and Ether.

A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, April 25, 2024 at the Watts Cemetery in Kerrmoor, Pa.

Arrangements are by the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church Street, Randolph.
