Donald Arthur Murdock

He was born in Ellery Center, NY on September 28, 1930 to Florence and Steven Arthur Murdock.

He attended the Bemus Point Schools and was the last survivor of the class of 1948. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Upon returning to the states, he married Barbara Ann Olson on December 26, 1953 in Sinclairville, NY during a blizzard.

Donald became the owner of M&O Metal and continued to work there until his retirement.

He was very active at Bethel Baptist Church, Jamestown and Faith Baptist Church, Winter Haven, FL. He was known for his generosity, his willingness to serve, his strong work ethic, but most of all, his love for his family and his Lord.

He was predeceased by his parents, his sister Barbara Eckwahl, and his bride of 58 years, Barbara.

He is survived by his three daughters, Darcie (Dennis) Vandermate of Sun City, AZ, Diane (Paul) Osborn of Frewsburg, and Denise (Eric) Wright of Frewsburg, his eight grandchildren, Kris (Nicole), Kory (Becky), Tricia (Jeremy), Danielle (Doug), Kait (Jayson), Melissa (Jeff), Scott (Anna), Cassie (Kevin), and his 13 great-children, Kolton, Nina, Rose, Mariah, Andrew, Abigail, Colwyn, Reaghan, Shiloh, Kayla, Lucia, Olivia, and Declan. He is also survived by his sisters Hazel, Joanne, Nancy, and Linda, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are being made by Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg.

The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Bethel Baptist Church Missions.
