Edith R. Moore

She was born Oct. 23, 1943, in Frewsburg, the daughter of Harold and Olita Sisson Rowley.

Edie completed two years of business college and had been employed as an agent with Prudential Insurance.

She was a longtime member of the Frewsburg American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, where she was currently president, a social member of the Frewsburg Fire Company and Sunnybrook Rebekah Lodge.

She enjoyed camping and needlework.

Edie is survived by her husband, Richard Moore, whom she married Nov. 9, 1985; a son, Greg (Laurie) Lindholme of Frewsburg; five stepchildren: Gwen Axelson, Beth (Randy) Beckstrom, Danny Moore, Bruce (Bridgett) Moore, and Matthew (Lacey) Moore; two grandchildren: Jennifer and Lucas Lindholme; numerous step grandchildren; a great-grandson, Owen Lindholme; three stepgreat-grandchildren; two brothers: Herb and Hal Rowley; and four sisters: Evelyn Suchar, Emma McCreary, Elaine Stephan and Ellen Howard.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers: Harold “Butch” Rowley, Henry and Howard Rowley; a sister, Elma Remington; and a stepgreat-grandson, Landyn Beckstrom.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg.

Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Frews-burg.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
