JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Megan M. Truver, 30, of Jamestown and Thomas J. Mann, 32, of Jamestown were both charged with two counts of third-degree criminal trespassing and two counts of seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance recently. Officers conducting a walking patrol at 6:18 p.m. April 24 on Institute Street near East First Street, property owned by the Western New York and Pennsylvania Railroad LLC, allegedly found Truver and Mann trespassing. Officers report finding Truver and Mann with methamphetamine. Both Mann and Truver will be in court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Michael A. Bane, 24, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree assault after an incident Sunday evening. Officers respnded to an address on the south side of town at 10:17 p.m. for a reported fight. Officers allege Bane hit a woman in the face with a metal rod. Bane was taken to the city jail for arraignment and will be in court later. - Gerald A. Samuels Sr., 42, of Jamestown was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT --- Devin E. Haskell, 18, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief and aggravated harassment after an incident late Thursday. At approximately 10:42 p.m., a victim called 911 reporting that a male was attempting to force entry into their residence. Officers responded to the scene shortly after and located Haskell still attempting to gain entry into the residence. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE ELLERY – Aubrey Baize, 29 and Kimberly Ferguson, 39, both of Randolph were charged with petit larceny. On April 19 at around 9 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a business on Rt. 430 in the town of Ellery for a shoplifting complaint of two people taking merchandise from a business without paying. Baize and Ferguson were later identified with the help of witnesses and deputies. On April 24, Baize and Ferguson were arrested and charged. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY COURT — MAYVILLE — Garry Pinkney, 25, of the Bronx, was sentenced Thursday by Chautauqua County Court Judge David W. Foley to 1.5 to 3 years in state prison after he was convicted of second-degree attempted assault, a class E felony.
