JAMESTOWN POLICE - A Jamestown woman faces charges after a domestic incident involving an infant. Police officers responded to the area of West Fifth and Clinton streets at 9:58 a.m. Thursday and were told by a witness that a woman was seen throwing a small child on the ground while in an argument with a man near Baker Park. The child was not injured, according to a police report. The woman, later identified as Annikka G. Coulter, 20, of Jamestown, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT — Quincy J. Harris, 44, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal mischief and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. At about 7:44 p.m. Friday, officers responded to an East side address for a domestic dispute complaint. The victim returned home after officers arrived. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY COURT Angel Vargas-Mendoza, age 43 of Jamestown, was sentenced in Chautauqua County court by Judge David Foley to an indeterminate state prison sentence of 2-4 years after being convicted of second-degree attempted assault, a class E felony. In July 2023, Vargas-Mendoza attacked the victim with a sharp metal object and caused physical injury and was charged with second-degree assault by the Jamestown Police Department. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT — Brandon T. Jimerson, 39, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree criminal trespass following an alleged incident which took place Thursday morning.
