– Chelsea Durnell, 30, of Jamestown was charged at 5:13 p.m. Thursday with third-degree criminal mischief and overdriving, torturing, injuring an animal after officers responded to a west side home for a reported domestic incident. Durnell allegedly broke property belonging to another person who was also at the scene. Durnell was taken into custody without incident, according to police. Officers said that while escorting Durnell to a patrol unit, she allegedly kicked the other person’s dog in the head/neck area for no apparent reason causing it to wince in pain and fear. Durnell was charged and held in the city jail until she could be arraigned.

– Two city residents face charges after a traffic stop at 12:28 a.m. Friday. Tonya Thwing, 42, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and traffic citations while Chistopher E. Dellahoy, 35, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia after their vehicle was pulled over on Harrison Street near Institute Street. During the course of the traffic stop, Dellahoy allegedly removed a digital scale from his pocket with drug residue on it. Officers then searched the vehicle, which allegedly yielded 7.4 grams of methamphetamine in the area where Thwing was sitting. Both were taken to the city jail until they could be arraigned.

– Tyrel S. Adelgren Foster, 29, of Jamestown was charged with resisting arrest at 10:16 p.m. Thursday after officers were on foot patrol near West Sixth and Cherry streets and saw Foster walking in the area. Foster allegedly had bench warrants from Jamestown City Court for third-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree criminal mischief, criminal obstruction of breathing, third-degree assault and resisting arrest. Foster ran from officers before he was caught after a brief chase. Foster was taken to the city jail. He was arraigned later Thursday night and released on his own recognizance.
