OFFICIALS CONFIRM IDENTIFY OF BODY DISCOVERED IN LAKE Officials with the Erie County Medical Examiner’s Office have confirmed that the body pulled from Chautauqua Lake Saturday morning is that of Daniel “Scott” Emerson. Around 8:45 a.m. the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a possible body on the shoreline near the Stow Ferry in North Harmony. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT — At around 2:17 a.m. Saturday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on Falconer Street in the City of Jamestown. The operator was identified as Nathan H. Dossey, 45, of Jamestown. Further investigation found Dossey to be driving while intoxicated. He was charged with DWI, DWI per se, and No/Inadequate Tail Lamps. Gifford, 40, of Jamestown was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs at 12:51 a.m. Friday after city police officers responded to a business in the Foote Avenue Plaza for a report of a man slumped over the wheel of a vehicle in the parking lot. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Connor A. Dale, 19, was charged May 20 with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and having active bench warrants. According to police, at about 1:30 a.m., officers responded to the northeast side for a report of a male attempting to enter vehicles. Officers located Dale, who was in the area, and matched the description that was provided.
