CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

HANOVER — At around 5:28 p.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to a personal injury motor vehicle accident on Routes 5 and 20. As a result of the accident, two individuals involved were transported to the hospital for apparent non-life threatening injuries. Through an investigation it was found that Kelsey M. Bearce, 27, of Silver Creek, was following too closely which resulted in the accident to occur. Kelsey will be in town court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

• Joseph A. Kazmar, 44, no address listed, was charged with third-degree criminal trespass, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of burglar tools. Savannah Raynor, 20, no address listed, was charged with third-degree criminal trespass. Officers responded at 4:58 p.m. Tuesday to a reported burglary at a condemned residence on Forest Avenue. Kazmar and Raynor were seen leaving the residence, and a search of Kazmar turned up a small quantity of methamphetamine and tools commonly used to assist in gaining entry into buildings and vehicles. Both are scheduled to appear in court later.
