JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

– Jack E. Wyant, 21, of Falconer, was charged May 27 with aggravated criminal contempt, and third-degree assault. According to police, at about 11:04 p.m., officers, and the New York State Police responded to an in-progress domestic dispute on the east side. Through investigation, it was discovered that Wyant allegedly engaged in a physical altercation causing physical injuries to the victim. Officers also discovered the victim had an active order of protection against Wyant. Wyant was placed into custody, and taken to Jamestown City Jail without incident. He will be in Jamestown City Court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

– Brock D. Zampogna, 46, of Falconer, was charged May 28 with fourth-degree criminal mischief. According to officials, at about 12:12 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a disorderly subject at Mee Road address in Falconer. After investigation it was determined that Zampogna allegedly had intentionally caused damage to another person’s property. Zampogna was placed into custody and taken to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment. He will be in Ellicott Town Court later.
