JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMET

— An early morning traffic stop led to a Florida woman being charged with drug possession.

Around 1:23 a.m. Friday, Jamestown Police Department’s Violent Crime Unit and K9 Unit took part in the operation at Newland Avenue and Colfax Street. Officers identified the operator of the vehicle as Damion E. Dalton, 19, who had confirmed bench warrants out of Jamestown City Court. Dalton was also operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license. During the investigation officers conducted a vehicle search and located a quantity of methamphetamine, Psilocybin (mushrooms) and a digital scale.

It was determined the drugs belonged to the passenger Andrea R. Whitford Rogers, 43, of Sarasota. She was charged with fourth-degree felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia. Dalton was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

Both were transported to Jamestown City Jail where they were held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court at a later time.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

— FRENCH CREEK — An Ohio man is facing charges after a traffic stop early Sunday. Around 1:39 a.m., deputies conducted the operation on Old Road for several alleged traffic violations.

Through an investigation it was determined that Brian A. Delfs, 41, of Lakewood, was operating the vehicle while intoxicated. Delfs was charged with DWI, DWI per se, moving from lane unsafely and failure to keep right. Delfs was released with tickets and will return to town court later.

DUNKIRK POLICE DEPARTMENT

— Jimmy Watts, 48, of Dunkirk, was arrested Aug. 11 and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and second-degree harassment.

— Luis Vazquez, 35, of Dunkirk, was arrested Aug. 12 and charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief.

— Ethan Lapp, 41, of Sheridan, was arrested Aug. 13 and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and second-degree harassment.

— Randy Hilliker Jr., 45, of Dunkirk, was arrested Aug. 15 and charged with petit larceny.

— Noel Dominguez, 34, of Dunkirk, was arrested Aug. 15 and charged with second-degree criminal contempt.

— Angel Maldonado, 22, of Dunkirk, was arrested Aug. 18 and charged with sexual misconduct and forcible touching.

— Raquel Rodriguez, 55, of Dunkirk, was arrested Aug. 19 and charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
