CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ John P. Houser, 30, of Westfield was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Deputies attempted to locate Houser, who was wanted authorities out of Warren County, Pa. Houser was located Wednesday and was taken into custody without incident. An investigation found he was in possession of an illegal weapon, and was later taken to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment. Further charges may be pending following a subsequent investigation with the ATF.

¯ HANOVER — Ronald L. Babicz, 60, of Hanover was taken into custody Wednesday following a warrant check at a residence on Routes 5 and 20 in the town of Hanover. Babicz, who was wanted on charges of third-degree criminal trespass and forcible touching, was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
