JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯Vanessa M. Braun, 35, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. At 1:13 p.m., police responded to 713 Newland Ave. to check the well-being of a distraught female. It is alleged that Braun had methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia lying on a bed within reach of three young children. She was taken to city jail to await arraignment.

¯Lisandro M. Sanchez, 36, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. At 8 p.m., police conducted a warrant check on Sanchez, who had a confirmed warrant out of Jamestown. It is alleged that Sanchez pulled away from officers while they attempted to place wrist restraints on him. A short foot pursuit ensued, but Sanchez was later apprehended. He was taken to city jail to await arraignment.

¯Magdalena Levy, 31, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and false personation. At 1:07 a.m., police pulled over Levy for allegedly failing to signal. It is alleged that Levy gave police a false name to hide that she had a suspended driver’s license. She was taken to city jail to await arraignment.

¯Jason A. Snow, 32, of Jamestown was charged Friday with speed in zone, operating a motor vehicle without ignition interlock device, driving while intoxicated per se, DWI and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. At 3:10 a.m., police pulled over Snow for allegedly speeding on Crescent Street. It is alleged that Snow was intoxicated and had a previous DWI conviction within the last 10 years. He was scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯Thomas W. Harris, 48, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with DWI, aggravated DWI, failure to keep right, moving from lane unsafely and operating motor vehicle while using portable electronic device. At 7:27 p.m., police pulled over Harris for a traffic infraction on Shadyside Avenue in Lakewood. It is alleged that Harris was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.

¯Phillip L. Hilton, 56, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with DWI, DWI per se and speed in zone. At 3:36 p.m., poice pulled over Hilton for an alleged traffic violation. It is alleged that Hilton was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.

WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯Samantha N. Austin, 26, of Buffalo was charged on April 2 with unlawful possession of marijuana. At 12:19 a.m., police were assisting Austin with a vehicle lockout at 96 E. Main St. in Westfield. Upon opening the door, police allegedly found a small amount of marijuana inside. Austin was scheduled to appear in Westfield Court at a later date.

¯Katelyn L. Mawhir, 27, of Brocton was charged April 1 with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and operating a vehicle while using mobile phone. At 10:49 p.m., police pulled over Mawhir for allegedly using her cellphone while driving on East Main Street in Westfield. Mawhir allegedly had a suspended driver’s license. She was scheduled to appear in Westfield Court at a later date.

¯Angela K. Witt, 38, of Sinclairville was charged April 2 with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument. Brent R. Frary, 33, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia. At 7 p.m., police assisted Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies with a vehicle complaint on Route 20 in Westfield. It is alleged that Witt and Frary were in possession of methamphetamine and multiple of baggies for packaging narcotics. Both were remanded to the county jail and scheduled to appear in Westfield Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯HANOVER–Brian Stull, 30, of Silver Creek was charged Tuesday with second-degree harassment and fourth-degree criminal mischief. At 6:45 p.m., deputies received a report of a disorderly male at an Alleghany Road residence in Hanover. It is alleged that Stull had threatened and made unwanted contact with a victim. It is also alleged that Stull damaged property at the residence. Stull was remanded to the county jail in lieu of $1,000 cash or $2,000 property bond.

¯SHERIDAN–Thomas Schibetta, 53, of Fredonia was charged Sunday with DWI, DWI per se and failure to stop at stop sign. At 11:29 p.m., deputies pulled over Schibetta for allegedly failing to stop at a stop sign in Sheridan. It is alleged that Schibetta was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Sheridan Court at a later date.

¯DUNKIRK–Desirae Camacho, 21, of Fredonia was charged Sunday with DWI and moving from lane unsafely. At 2:30 a.m., deputies pulled over Camacho for traffic violations in Dunkirk. It is alleged that she was intoxicated. She was scheduled to appear in Dunkirk City Court at a later date.

¯HANOVER–Nathaniel D. Bagwell, 33, of Silver Creek was charged Monday with DWI, driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and following too closely. At 4:12 p.m., deputies responded to a two-car vehicle accident at Route 5 and 20 in Hanover. It is alleged that one of the drivers, Bagwell, was intoxicated and struck another vehicle that was stopped at a red light. Bagwell is due back in Hanover Court at a later date.

¯CLYMER–Martin L. Winkler, 62, of Clymer was charged Monday with second-degree harassment. At 4:45 p.m., deputies responded to a reported altercation between two individuals at Clymer address. Winkler was charged with harassment and scheduled to appear in Clymer Court at a later date.
