Dunkirk councilman, former council member respond to mayor’s criticisms
Dunkirk Councilman-at-large Nick Weiser and former Councilwoman Nancy Nichols are defending themselves against criticism from Mayor Kate Wdowiasz over handling of Dunkirk’s finances. Councilmen Frank Torain and Mike Civiletto, who took office in January, agreed with Wdowiasz that previous council members are partially responsible for the city’s financial problems.
