Two Buffalo residents face several felony charges in Pennsylvania involving false statements involving the sale or transfer of firearms. Alexander E. Jones, 33, of Buffalo, and Julia Rose Carter, 33, of Buffalo, were charged Wednesday by the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation for an alleged crime that took place in March in Conewango Township. Chautauqua County is moving ahead with plans to publish the salaries of elected county officials on its website. The only significant change from the original proposal is that it would be done in the fall rather than the spring.
